Great option for a quick lunch. The 1 dollar menu is great for trying a wide variety of sushis. My recommendation are: Rainbow Roll Crab, avocado and cucumber topped with tuna, salmon and yellow tail. Dumplings 5 pieces of deep fried tofu (soy protein with pork flavor), leek, cabbage, onion, green onion, and noodle dumplings. Served with our signature dumpling sauce. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of our beautiful Chicago roll and dumplings! Food was great. One dollar sushi is always available.. it seems. We went in a cold Friday evening, it was not busy. I wish there were sit down menus, but you have to order from the kiosk up front. That’s the only down side to this location.
I love their sushi!!!!! It’s made fresh to eat and each bit is so flavorful and delicious. A suggestion for improvement is to give out more ginger and wasabi in a bigger container so customers don’t have to keep on asking for more.
One of my favorite spots in Champaign that I've been a few times, especially on Sundays for their $1 sushi menu. A few times we went in winter, and some of their dishes when it's cool out like Miso Soup, Steamed Edamame. I ordered the same food again and again, so there is only one corner of the menu I tried. Steamed Edamame steamed and salted perfectly, especially on cooler days and if you have the time to sit and chat while you enjoy it. Sushi I enjoy the Coconut Shrimp Mango Sushi and always consider one after the meal as a dessert. Your $1 sushi menu on Sundays, you can get a few sushi rolls, from different varieties, without committing yourself to a record. Vegetable dumplings quite crispy with a hot filling of vegetables and tofu. Miso Soup this traditional soup from Japan had a toasty sweet salty taste, with soft sponge tofu chunks, and Sweet Spicy Korean Chicken Wings, served with one side of Asian Coleslaw The crumb of fried chicken is incredibly ideal even if it has penetrated in a sweet and spicy sauce. I always order with one side of white steamed rice, as it is technically a starter and I always try to make a meal of it. The Asian Koleslaw is great and I believed it so much that I restored it at home. But they are always really nice to get me seconds of the Koleslawin. A piping hot bowl of soup filled with all kinds of vegetables and rams noodles, top with a tile pig belly that we always end up in a doggy bag. I would definitely recommend this place as it is a pretty experience. Even during Covid they had LITERAL bubbles for the tables with heating, so that everyone can practice safe social distancing.
