Love the turnovers. I usually buy them all/all flavors. I can order ahead also. I love the floats, ice cream. Everything is awesome. I only wish there was a Thinnery close to me in Northern California. I wish they mailordered. I can’t say enough good things about The Thinnery
When searching places in my area who had sugar free desserts only a few popped up and many were closed so I decided to drive 20 mins to come here and get myself some treats. When I arrived this store I passed the store front as nothing set it apart. Parking is easy and accessible and not much of a hassle. When walking in my first impression was ohhh ok, should I trust it? Design is a bit odd, a bit empty a bit antique vibes. Fridges where frozen desserts are stored are super old and hard to open, no description of what it holds other than boxes of what looks like desserts. The pastry cases had good looking options a few higher in carb count but I totally appreciate the carbs being visible. I will say EVERYTHING is affordable and reasonably priced considering it 's sugar free and not easy to make. They have a yummy chocolate case and this is totally appreciated because I LOVE chocolate! They even had ice cream machine (old and not sure if it works) but it 's there. I truly love the concept but there 's a few things that need a bit of altering but overall not a bad idea. Desserts were good, again for being sugar free they were really good! The customer service is good...We were greeted by the owners mom and she was a doll and super kind but when the owner came out she was awkward not even a hello. Her mom even let her know we were looking for keto stuff and she barely even looked at us and just kept walking but not in a rude way just a real awkward way almost like why are you looking at me . Mom gave us a bit of the back story of the place and told us the place is fairly new and was opened in late spring early summer of last year so I get it but still would think if the place is still up and coming your customer service would be impeccable. I think I 'd also like to know more about what the pastries have in them...almond flour, Splenda, stevia, gluten? so many people who are sugar free also have food intolerances so might be something to look into. Other than that I think the concept is great and I see it becoming a true gem in the area if a few things get tweaked.
So glad I found this bakery! I started my sugar free journey in the same month as my birthday. I didn't want to miss out on actually having a cake so I asked some local people for recommendations. I received several recommendations for The Thinnery. I messaged them with a picture of what I was looking for. They responded fast, had great pricing and the cake turned out delicious. I will definitely be back!
The Thinnery has saved my parents sweets craving since they love their sweets and can't have anything thing with sugar. Finding the Thinnery was a blessing.
I found this place on Yelp with great reviews since I am trying to watch my sugar intake so I decided to give this place a try. There is tons of parking in the plaza and it's next to one of my favorite tea spot, Tpumps. The inside looked really cute with a bunch of cute decors as well as outside on their entrance. They have decent amount of choices, but some displays are pretty empty. I decided to try the Lemon Vanilla Mousse Tart (5 carbs), Banana Vanilla with Chocolate Drizzle Mousse Tart (5 carbs), Apple Cheesecake Cup (11 carbs), Log Cream Horn (10-12 carbs), Dark Chocolate Truffles, Chocolate Covered Vanilla Caramel, and a box of Sugar Free Chocolate Chip cookies. They were very delicious even though it was lesser carbs, except the chocolate chip cookies tasted a little weird. The staff was very friendly, but should've at least let me know that if I paid with credit card there is a 3% processing fee. I didn't notice it till I asked for a receipt. I would definitely come again since my favorite would be the mousse tarts and pay in cash to avoid the card fee. You should give this place a try.
