Baumhower's Victory Grille - Tuscaloosa

First, the name itself says enough. After I had eaten here, I claimed the victory over the rest of my week. The menu features a South Slash Cajun style cooking. Had a very difficult time to choose a meal because there are so many mouth water options. As a cheese lover, I have the homemade cheese wedges, bomb sausages. Follow one of the best meals I've ever eaten in a restaurant: can't even remember the funny name it had, but it was spicy baked chicken breast, over cheese grottos, served with a bun and made of scratchy green. As I could fit in the desert, I still have no idea, but FRIED BANANA PUDDING! mic drop nough said!!

Traveling from NC to LA we stopped at this point in Alabama after we had all the pictures online and so glad I did. My father ordered us a few wings that I have the honey garlic and it was so good. I'd order that wing again. For my meal I order the Shrimp Naan it was delicious and fill. It was loaded with crispy shrimp and the naan and sauce was a great addition. For my little ones, I ordered a Mac n cheese and cheese. I didn't know the kitschigen Pommes had bacon, but our friendly waitress helped us a new baconless version. For the first time I could taste beignets for dessert. It has not exceeded my expectations or my fathers. The waiter said we can add a sauce to him if we want the next time we ever wanted to try it again. The staff was friendly, our food was good

We had a great lunch there. Yes Service was a tad slower than I like, but under the current lack of workers they have shaken it. I had the Da Boss Burger. It was perfectly boiled and surprisingly combined. Almost forget the fried pickles wow oh wow. That really did a great job. Food was great and service was amazing. Under the current climate of the need for workers, staff went beyond and beyond.

Enjoy our meal. It was nicely spread. Our waitress was so beautiful and the food was delicious and quick to come. I would recommend the fried pickles. Chicken in the pack was a little dry, burger was delicious as well as the shrimp tacos. Would recommend and come back safely!

I cannot say enough about the kindness I was shown at this establishment. I arrived 30 minutes prior to opening in a rush and hoping to get a gift card. However, considering I was early I doubted I would be able to get it without waiting until 11. I called and spoke with Dwight. He was kind and was more than happy to help me. He did not act like I was an inconvenience and truly impressed me with the level of customer service. I will return simply because of this interaction and the wonderful representation from this employee.
