Shadowbrook Resort And Six West

I was at a family members wedding at shadowbrook resort, very nice banquet room, beautiful grounds and golf course. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly staff.

Everything is beautiful and new! Would come back! Rooms clean, pool and hot tub were awesome! Staff is courteous and cheerful! Loved it!!

When making a reservation I specifically requested a king jacuzzi suite w/ a balcony (confirmed one was available before booking, was told they have several all were available). Upon checking in was given a 1st floor room, I stated I booked a room w/ balcony, she looked stating yes you did however all the rooms w/ balconies the jacuzzi jets are having issues (funny ALL the rooms having issues?! that they only have 1st floor. I was not happy, I should of been contacted asking if I was willing to change rooms, which I was NOT willing to but was left with no option! Wasn't given a discount or anything, just a sorry this is the room we're giving you!! We were given room 136, which is totally outdated, had a musty odor, stains in jacuzzi and shower. To top it off, it was a beautiful weekend but we couldn't sit out on the patio area as the sewer pipe directly in front of our patio had no cover and smelled gross! Don't waste your money at this resort stay at the newer hotels in Tunkhannock!ONLY good thing about staying here for the weekend was Six West had delicious food good service! Skip the free breakfast of bagged pastries go to Perkins!

The sale of the course and resort is going to absolutely devastate the area. What a sad state of affairs for Tunkhannock and the small businesses around it. All for a community that will drain seniors of their income until they have nothing. The county should be purchasing it and making it a municipal course Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
