L'astragale - Tunis

What a beautiful place, hidden in a small street surrounded by houses. Note that the entrance is not on Charles Nicolle Avenue, but on a narrow road behind. The atmosphere is relaxed. A beautiful place to have a good conversation while enjoying high quality food. The background music (Frank Sinatra, Charles Aznavour, etc. adds intimacy and even romance. Perfect for couples and also for families and business meetings. The menu has a selection of fish and meat. No options for vegetarians except soups. All the dishes we tried were good. The cook kindly accepted our wishes to tweaken some. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent service! Come back!

French Haute cuisine in its finest set in what must be one of the most beautiful farms in Tunis. This restaurant really summarizes the quality that can be found here in Tunis regarding French skin cuisine. The menu is wide with interesting elements like a tongue. I had the privilege of having a three course meal here and from the moment I arrived at Riadh, the owner welcomed me in his restaurant with a warm greeting that immediately fell home. I started with artichokes prawns then drew on one of the specialties of the house the Calamari, after a short break I dived into the perfectly boiled fish main with a lemon cake. All the dishes I was served where presented perfectly tasted from this world. If you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, then I can highly recommend this place, the professionalism of the staff quality of the food is exalted. I'll be back.

One of the best meals I had in Tunis. The fish was so fresh and the waiter helped our order as none of us could read the menu in French. Delicious wine and dessert are filled. A little expensive, but worth it.

This is a first-class restaurant. Never was in a restaurant as a classic and professional in customer service as here. And for food, I cannot emphasize enough on the good quality delicacies. I'll be back soon.
