I think people often write its reviews in the hotel page, which is a shame, since many travelers who are not at the hotel end up not finding out this place. I feel that it is my obligation to share it with the world after 3 amazing dinners at this place. EVERYTHING on the menu is beyond amazing, but I must recommend a order like this: avocado quinoa as a starter, risotto as the main course and the maracuya dessert. The risotto is heaven, seriously, I have never tried anything like it. I ordered it 2 nights in a row.I also have to tell you about the service which is great! They are always very kind and pretty fast. The price is fair for what they serve. Extremely high quality food with an unbeatable price if you are comparing with the restaurants by Tulum beach, which are very pricey and offer same quality.
The restaurant is attached to the Don Diego de la Silva hotel tucked away down a side street, so difficult to find. But when you do, the food is excellent. I had shrimp in a liqueur sauce -- sort of a very very light sweet and sour sauce, possibly with anise ; my partner had the chicken mole, both delicious. The waiter bought out an appetizer -- crudités of chopped spinach on a slice of zucchini. The bread was home made. And we rounded out the evening by sharing a warm Fondant de Xocolate.
Small intimate eatery part of the boutique hotel, beside the pool, outdoors.Food amazing We had Mayan zucchini seeds humus and empanadas of huitaconche and zucchini flowers for starters- absolutely amazing Mains grilled fish with sweet lime sauce and shrimps alpastor, again both amazing Highly recommend this small intimate restaurant Approx 600 plus drinks and tip Great service from Marco who was ever attentive This restaurant also serves a great breakfast with fresh made bread , lovely egg dishes and sweet breads of French origin.
