The Delta Cafe Scratch Kitchen - Tulsa

This place has a relaxing atmosphere and friendly workers. I took Thanksgiving dinners that were delicious, but had extremely small portions. It seemed like they were children's dishes. For the amount of food given, they should not have loaded a plate over $15.00! I was disappointed and still hungry with only 2 slices of turkey and a small amount of dressing....

I always come to the banana pudding. The upper shelf. The bread always smells like my grandmother?

I had lunch today. I had the fried catfish, sweet potato casserole and Cole Slav. Everything was very good. The catfish was right, crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. The sweet potato caserole is one of my favorite items on the menu. Jessica was my server today and the service was great. She kept tabs on what I needed and did it well, even though it was the Sunday lunch break.

The food was hot and delicious. The waitress Mattison was great.

I was looking for a place to have lunch while I was out and I had totally forgotten about The Delta Cafe until I was just about to pull into another place to have lunch when I seen the sign and that was that, not a hard choice so I went in and was greeted and seated by a nice friendly waitresses,she took my drink order went and got my drink and ask if I was ready to order, I was so I gave her my order SHE didn't write it down and I thought I hope she got it right to my surprise SHE got it right I was impressed that she remembered everything I ordered after asking her several questions about some items on the menu I order the pork chops with broccoli ? mashed potatoes ? with gravy and a side salad ?, the food was good and the service was good I will go back next time I'm in the area. So if you are looking for a nice quiet place give it a try. the only negative thing I can say is the trash in the restroom was almost overflowing to a point that you had to push the paper towel in it.
