Marketplace Cafe - Tukwila

Some Nordstrom Cafés (Now Marketplace cafe) did not offer the same menu but nowadays I started to notice that most Nordstrom Cafés offer the same menu which is a great news to me. Because back in the days when this bread pudding was not offered at most locations I had to go find the Nordstrom Café that offered this dish. A few years ago it was only offered at Lynnwood and Tacoma Nordstrom cafes in the greater Seattle area. The size was way bigger see my 3rd photo and the price was just a little higher too but that was better honestly. Now, the portion got reduced in half and the price has reduced a little but the taste and the quality have remained the same for my favorite dish bread pudding. In my opinion, this is the best dessert you can get out of anywhere. Pretty high calories though, close to 1k if you eat it all including the whip cream and white chocolate that is molten on the dish. I still don’t care about calories when it comes to desserts and I will always go to Nordstrom café for this dish as long as they have it.

I’m hesitant to put a review to draw more people to this gem as it is our special place that we go to when we need amazing food, exemplary service, every time and anytime. All their servers are incredibly attentive. Katie has served our table with three kids and two adults probably 10 times by now and she has shown a great attention to detail, and anticipate our needs. Lisa, chef, Ashlee and rest of the team operates so well to give the best. Every good items is delicious. Especially asparagus shrimp salad, and tomato soup. Our kids love their fries and chicken strip. Thanks so much!!

I like the food here except I was not impressed with the Korean tacos. It didn't taste like Korean food and it was soggy. However, most of everything else was great. I like their pastas.
