The starter was satisfactory. Both dishes were cold; my wife had the lobster and found it tasty, but only until she encountered a shell piece. I paid an additional £5 to have the sirloin steak, but it was served cold and honestly portioned like a child's meal, with the roast being just 5mm thick. On a positive note, the sparkling wine was enjoyable and a wonderful touch for our silver anniversary, which was definitely the highlight of the meal. However, when I spoke to my neighbor from Largs about her experience there on Saturday night, she confirmed that they also found it terrible and had no intention of returning, which echoed our own sentiments from the previous day. Scott's really needs to step up its game and return to what it used to do well: serving quality food and ensuring that customers leave happy. It's a great location, but for us, and my neighboring diner, Chefums will be our regular spot at the marina moving forward. I hope this feedback resonates with management.
While there aren't any clearly labeled vegan options on the menu, we asked our server for assistance, and they kindly consulted with the chef. We would definitely return to this restaurant, even for vegans seeking a delightful meal, because the food was delicious and the interior is beautifully designed.
I enjoyed a starter of quinoa fritters, followed by vegan lasagna accompanied by a salad and chips. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view of the boats and skyline on a clear, dry early evening. I would highly recommend this place!
