Cabane a sucre Chez Dany

I love this place absolutely. a visit in chez dany is a must if they are in the region mauricie. this is more than a restaurant, it is a cultural experience where they are beautifully greeted by team, listening to live violin music,...taste pottery (the maple syrup before them is frozen on a tablet snow in the beautiful grounds) and finding out how maple syrup is produced. the place is impeccable, eating is traditional, homemade and beautiful, and the team are friendly, professional and put their heart and soul in a special experience full of maple syrup!

This place is absolutely wonderful! I loved it as they put their wooden spoons on each table, as they loved to watch their guests play with how their employees played a violin and spoon. I was told that I should put hornsirup in the...Pea soup, but I've already eaten my soup before I realized that the container they used for their sirup was not juice. the water bottle is the real maple syrup. even if they have the small meatcakes, make sure they drown it in maple syrup because it tastes sooo well and do not forget to get their warm maple syrup on a floor on the ice. her maple syrup is really great at everything. it’s like this hot sauce say “, I put this on everything!”

Eating was strange for a better choice of cake, but the whole experience was amazing. they serve only one menu and this is soap soup with pork crackers, roasted kartoffels, cooked ham, frizzying, meatcakes, baked ham omelette and pancakes and they should pour...maple sirup on everything. it's different, but beautiful! after that they get to make their own desert when they pour maple syrup in ice and make them their own popicicle.

Of course they can eat here, but we didn't stop here. Honestly, I love honey and just think maple syrup as a substitute. but it was interesting that we look at the entire production cycle of maple syrup.

Visited here with my wife while visiting eastern Canada and had an unexpected great time. The food was great and it was great value and they even had entertainment and people were even dancing. Great unexpected day out.
