I'm only giving this 1 star because of today, I got the chicken strip basket, which I always get, and the taste of fish from the fryers hasn't left my taste buds, it's awful! It was so over powering, I was so upset because besides this, everything I get from this place is absolutely wonderful and I go here ALOT. They should fry their fish in a absolute different fryer because the taste on the chicken and fries from it was disgusting and some people are allergic to shellfish, so that shouldn't be allowed anyway

I decided to try their fish sandwiches which I had heard good reviews on. So 3 fish sandwiches, sides of perogies, mac and cheese coleslaw to go were eaten by my family. The fish was ok, a bit greasy but it was ok. The coleslaw was very creamy, not to tart and very good, as was the mac and cheese. The perogies were also very tasty, served with onions, and I added my own sour cream. All in all, I can't say it was the best food I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst either. As it is a bit out of the way for me, I won't be going out of my way to go back any time soon. A huge turnoff for me, was the miserable skinny lady who took my order. She literally treated me like I was really annoying her, just by placing my order. When I asked if she could put cheese on the fish sandwiches, she actually rolled her eyes. Like I had just asked her the most ridiculous question in the history of questions! When she called my name to pick up my order, she handed me my bags, her body turned to the side, did not make eye contact or even say thank you, for the close to 60 bucks you just dropped here. Wow!! I noticed a tip jar on the counter. The only tip I have for that broad is, a smile and a pleasant personality go a long way sister! You should give it a try, especially when your customers help pay your salary! I hope she reads this and does better!

We ordered fish from Lumpy's during lent. The fish and sides were just ok, nothing too special, and the women at the register were pretty rude. The worst part of our meal was the two long hairs I found in my pasta salad though. Probably won't be back.
