Shoe Bird Cafe - Tougaloo

Visited for the first time this week and was pleasantly surprised by this cute little cafe. Although the Belhaven cafe area is not as much of a coffee shop vibe as other ones nearby, the location is perfect for a stroll with your iced coffee around the beautiful campus (which is quite peaceful during the summer). The employee was so sweet and her smile was contagious.I ordered a medium iced lavender latte with oatmilk. Their lavender flavor was not as sweet as one might expect, but it was still delicious. I would recommend sizing up from the size you would normally order because it appears their cup sizes run a bit small. I was initially surprised by how cheap their flavored iced latte was with alternative milk (only $4.50), but I would say the smaller medium size made the price make sense.

I was so incredibly impressed with this hidden gem. Delicious espresso and unique drinks. My fave is The Wells.

Very nice tea and they have breakfast sandwiches, coffee, etc. On the Belhaven University campus. Prices are a little steep, but quality food and drinks as well as great service!

I really love the Shoe Bird Cafe! They have a wonderful assortment of specialty coffee drinks. The people that work here love coffee and are very knowledgeable about coffee. I was told they roast their own beans and they have coffee tasting events. Their breakfast on Saturday morning is amazing and they have a yummy lunch menu as well. Really great drinks, great food, great atmosphere. Definitely check this place out!
