Yates El Cordobes - Torremolinos

We go here for lunch on a Sunday from time to time and are often surprised that whilst nearby chiringuitos seem full of English tourists this is full of Spanish locals. Good portions of food well cooked with a nice choice,. An excellent paella and right on the beach. The waiters are old school, efficient and friendly, joking a little with each other and the customer. Nice atmosphere. desserts a bit of a let down, all bought in.

Many times ate here: tasty meals, quick service, friendly waiters (the same company through the years). Covered terrace with sea view and nice big eating room with yacht ornamentation. The restaurant is very popular among local people, too. Our favorite meals: grilled squid, gambas plancha, espetos.

This is one of the best restaurants in Torremolinos, it is situated on the sea front and you can choose to eat on the beech side with a great view of the Med, inside if the weather is cool or on the promenade side watching the world go by.The food is excellent and there is a great choice with a mixture of typical fast food and authentic Spanish food.The wine is of super quality and the price of both the food and drink is extremely reasonable and the staff are some of the most friendly in the resort. All in all a superb place to eat and relax.

Yates does the best prawn pil- pil I have ever tasted . The food here is the best in torremolinos , the quality is exceptional . Saturday and Sunday is overtaken by Spanish so be prepared to join the que for fine food and drink ,the location is beach side which is lovely . The staff are very helpful and very nice , there is seating in and out and is open from 10 till late , we have been going here foe 20 years and never been dissapointed . The menu has a mix of seafood ,chicken and fine steaks . You don,t book just turn up , busy times 2 til 4 .

We’ve been using this restaurant for 5 years but that’s the last time I’m afraid. We were half way through our tasty starter of Fish Soup when our main course arrived. When we asked why, he said the chef is going home! We weren’t warned of this when we ordered so we just had to sit there watching our mains go cold. There is nothing more I hate than being rushed. Then 10 minutes later they turned all the lights off. They did turn ours back on. It’s just so unprofessional. If you are closing soon at least have the courtesy to tell us when we sit down.
