Wahoo's - Torrance

I chose to dine at this restaurant because it was conveniently located, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I ordered the Banzai Burrito with white rice and tofu, and decided to add pico de gallo and extra teriyaki sauce for a more flavorful taste. I found this combination to be even better than the Chipotle Sofritos that I usually enjoy, as they can sometimes be too spicy for my liking. I appreciated that my burrito was satisfying, delicious, and not overpowering. I will definitely be returning to this Wahoo's location or trying out other branches in the future.

I decided to try out the vegan options at this taco chain, curious to see what they had to offer after hearing that Rubio's, a competitor, has Impossible protein on their menu. Wahoo's offers a tofu protein option, which I found to be just okay. I ordered the "Banzai Burrito" with tofu and requested it be made wet without any cheese. Unfortunately, I found the tofu to be unseasoned and lacking flavor. If I had to choose between Wahoo's and Rubio's, I would definitely go with Rubio's.
