Hair of the Dog - Toronto

The hair of the dog is a nice neighborhood restaurant/bar. I was sitting in the bar, but I think they're up. the service was friendly and the wine.

This place had a flowering atmosphere, the personal was brilliant. they have 4 terraces to choose from, it is dog friendly. eating was amazing, I had the guts.

We were in Toronto for three days and had identified several restaurants we wanted to try. We went here the first night because it was closest to our hotel, but we liked it so much we went there for dinner all three nights! Great patio space, good drinks, tasty food, friendly servers ... highly recommend.

We ate here twice on a recent trip to Toronto. The first night, we sat on the downstairs patio. I had the nachos as they seem famous online, and my husband had a crispy chicken sandwich I think. Nachos were so disappointing, I'm sorry to say. The corn chips were supposedly made in house but they tasted very much store bought. I know what freshly fried chips are like and these were not it. Cheese was in a single bland layer on top, so tons of bare chips underneath. Veggies were plentiful which I liked. Cosmos were delicious and service wonderful. Second time, we sat on the upstairs patio (delightful) we tried the grilled chicken sandwich, which was tasty. Service was fantastic once again. Overall, we recommend this place friendly pub and good food maybe it was an off night for the nachos!

If you're looking for a unique restaurant, don't miss visiting Hair of the Dog. I had a group of 20 visiting, they were so easy to work with, took such excellent care of the group and the food was delicious, creative and very well priced. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance decorated with spoons, forks, knives and assorted photos of dog. The wait staff was excellent courteous, efficient and so very friendly.
