Delhi Bistro - Toronto

Went here as it was close o our rental apartment and had good ratings on TA. We were not disappointed, very good indian food, great service and a nice environment. The food portions were good and served well. Curry's very tasy and spice levels were same as I would expect in the UK. Well worth a visit.

Having a craving for curry we headed over to Delhi Bistro. We’ve lived in the area for years and had never been but we will definitely be back. Nice friendly service with great recommendations on dishes to share. We had the chicken Biryani and a nice spicy curry with shrimp along with garlic naan. Everything was delicious. They have a decent wine selection as well. We didn’t have dessert. They do a busy takeout service as well judging by the number of people coming in to pick up orders. Enjoy!

My husband and I have been looking for great restaurants in the Beach. This is it. Our meal was one of the best I’ve had in the area and literally the best Indian food I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of Indian food). Service was very friendly and prompt. Restaurant was clean and the music was very good. My only suggestion: the decor was pretty boring. Wouldn’t take much to jazz it up and become the best restaurant for many blocks.

We smelled the food from the corner of the street. Complete impromptu walk-in. No regrets. Great service. Great food. A definite recommend.

We order from this Indian bistro 1-2 times per month. We like their food. We ordered several dishes one evening recently. We went to pick up our take away meals about one hour later as instructed. When we arrived, the hostess said someone had already paid for and picked up our order?!. It wasn't anyone in our household. Someone paid over one hundred dollars for food they did not order?! The hostess apologized for the mix up and said they could re-make our meal but we would need to wait for another hour. This delay would have pushed our dinner to close to 10:00 p.m. We did not bother. Very poor service issue! They clearly need to institute a better system of customer identification if they wish to continue to offer take away service.
