Even if it's full, it's calm and there's no problem hearing other people at their table. on this occasion...Nafis was our server and he was friendly and attentive. great customer service. we started with the garlic and grilled calamari and both were excellent. we had the chicken oprem and kalbspiccata. my wife really enjoyed the kalbs (and I concure as I a bite of her kalbs) and my stuffed huh was very delicious and damp. my only complicity is that the sap sauce was too salty. to dessert we had the bomba exotic and tiramisu. we have sampled and agreed that the other was absolutely amazing!
We really enjoyed our pre-theater dinner here. the personal understands the timing necessary to bring us to show in time! I had a great dish of gnocchi and my man polished his meat lovers pizza. they had our favorite chianti on the whitelist and it was the perfect companion to our meal. my only disappointment was the Arugula salad with bark carpaccio. the carpaccio was cut so thin that it was muddy and, for the price of the salad, not the amount of meat I expected.
We had such a wonderful, attentive service and excellent eating on Saturday. I have booked for a group of people and it is always a little nerve-racking observer to choose a restaurant for a group of this size. I don't have to worry. patrick and nafis were organized, recognizable and efficient and eating was so delicious. the location is perfect minutes to walk from the crowd’s theatre) so that we didn’t have to park twice, which was ideal that we were out, this restaurant would highly recommend as the guests in my group. many thanks!
So glad that we bought the groupon and had to try this wonderful neighboring place. the room was warm and comfortable. we tried the antipasto and calamari and both were delicious and generous. the calfs dish was excellent, it was very delicate and tasteful. the Pesto...pasta with him was perfect al dente and had great basil aroma without overwhelming. my man loved the chickenhead and the spaghetti-Carbonara of my life was the best thing each of us ever had. tiramisu was both rich and bright at the same time. plating was elegant and service was phenomenal! we're safe back.
Just before we moved out of the area we dined twice at Baldini's years ago and really enjoyed our experience. We found ourselves in the neighborhood looking for a restaurant when we found and remembered this restaurant. We were not disappointed. It was quit...busy for a Wednesday but luckily we were able to be seated with a minute wait. It is a smaller restaurant with seating for with seating for or They have a small/med size menu with specials of the day and a excellent wine list. My partner had the wild mushroom and seafood rosoto witch was excellent (unsure of the wild mushrooms). I had the veal scalopini which was excellent as well. We shared a salad and a bottle of California red zinfandel (name which we thoroughly enjoyed. Ask for your Italian bread with oil and balsamic vinegar if you want it...we were thoroughly full so it wasn't required. Staff was very good and service prompt. Yes I strongly recommend this restaurant.
