Frying Scotsman - Torbay

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and the food is consistently excellent - well-cooked, well-presented, and hot. The staff are accommodating and friendly. In my opinion, it is the best fish and chip shop around.

Having not long arrived at the nearby holiday park thought we would try the local chippy.Had fish and chips 2 times we over priced to much batter on the fish and chips were hard and crispy not the best

Dry chips obviously been in the heater cabinet for a long time. Fish was two separate pieces battered together. £21 for 3 fish and chips?

Sent someone to buy fish and chips form the new DJs chip shop. Shocked with the price of £19.95 for 2 large cods and one large chips, wouldn't have paid it if id gone myself. would have gone back to Nikkis. Fish was good but only normal size, not a large size compared to what you normally get elsewhere. Chips were awful had a awful taste and left a grease after taste on your lips and mouth, really not nice. chips are so much better, first class from the kebab shop a few doors down. Again portion size for a large chips was poor more like a standard to other chip shops and some have the outer skin still on them which spoils it. Very disappointed with price portion size and chips, won't be going back.

Was on the toilet for two days with the runs never go there again food off as i went in there was a smell not good for a new shop
