Great coffee shop with top of the range coffee and food.Do the shopping then drop in for a relaxing coffee.Sometimes there is a guitarist here which adds to the atmosphere. The service is friendly. There is a Bottle Shop next door and plenty of nice eating places adjacent.
Recently had lunch here with my family. Staff were friendly and the meals were nice and came out on time. Will be back.
My wife and I often enjoy a coffee at Aromas after doing the weekly grocery shopping. It is a very pleasant and convenient place. Today, on a cooler Toowoomba day, the plastic curtains were down, which only made the experience more cozy and enjoyable. However, the place needs a little TLC. A blanket covers ripped vinyl on some seats, and the lovely comfy tub chairs are getting grubby. All testimony to the popularity of the place, but some work is needed to keep the ambience high.
My daughter was visiting from Brisbane. We had a great dinner at Junkasian when she arrived, and I wanted to offer a nice lunch on our shopping day together. Aromas used to be pretty reliable. Well I was so disappointed with our meal and associated cost. Calamari with side salad was about five measly rings and the salad was a few rocket leaves out of a packet with a shaving of Parmesan on top - dry and no more than a garnish. The other dish was supposed to be bruschetta with tomato and the usual.....three thin bits of sourdough with sagging toppings. And with a couple of cold drinks, this came to around the $50 mark! Never again. So many better places to go in Toowoomba now. I actually felt embarrassed to have taken her there.
