The Cock Horse - Tonbridge and Malling

AKA TJ's Kitchen provides excellent service and has a lovely beer garden with six cozy sitting cabins equipped with heating and lighting. The staff members maintain the cabins very well and serve delicious Indian cuisine. From the starters to the main dishes, the food is full of classic flavors and fresh ingredients. We tried the garlicky mogo, chicken paratha, and TJ's special wings, which had a crispy coating and were all excellent choices. For the main course, we opted for a lamb and chicken dish, a vegetable curry, and rice. We were impressed with the quality of the food and will definitely be returning for a more thorough review complete with photos and videos.

This is a neighborhood pub where locals gather after work to unwind, watch sports on TV, and enjoy drinks with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming but can be a bit noisy, and the service may not be top-notch. It's a charming, traditional spot, perfect for when you want to stay local and skip the trip into the city.

Today, after hard work on a good Sunday roast, we had a black horse. sad I didn't get what I wanted. I wouldn't have given what they called my pet dog for dinner as a Sunday roast. very disappointed. the food was served cold and was not a good standard.
