Although the menu is small, the quality of food is high and the atmosphere is charming. The restaurant is located in a lovely house with a stunning garden, showcasing the work of local artists. We will definitely be returning.
The restaurant has a charming hidden rocky garden where you can relax while listening to the birds. The building has an old traditional Kent style. However, we were disappointed with the limited cake options, as my husband found the Flapjack to be dry and not very good. We typically enjoy having tea and cake, so this was a bit of a letdown. Despite this, we received a warm welcome from the two ladies working there.
Amazing cakes, tea, and coffee. Beautiful historic building with a hidden garden. Local art for sale. The only downside is that it's only open in the summer on Thursdays (except for special events). A must visit!
