Bombay Kitchen 419 - Toledo

Bombay is a fantastic dining experience. The customer service is warm and welcoming, and the food is truly exceptional. If you're new to the restaurant, they even offer complimentary samples of their sauces so you can confidently choose your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new dining experience.

I come from Chicago, so I’m picky when it comes to food. Food is AMAZING! Best Indian food you’ll find in Toledo or the surrounding areas at that! The chicken 65 is definitely my go to along with a mango lassi.the owner is very friendly and social with all her customers, couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We love Bombay! The food is outstanding! Rita, the owner, will ask what your preferences are and help you with your food selections if you want and she’s spot on! It’s a great place to go if you are new to trying Indian food as well as if you are very familiar with Indian food. Atmosphere is fun. We LOVE eating here

Worst experience ever! Made us rethink the idea of dining when on road.Entered the restaurant at 8:40 PM, ordered at 9, food came after 10 and we left the place 10:25 PM.Meanwhile people from 2 tables left after having appetizers. I wasn’t in a hurry anyway but still inexcusable. When I asked if they are short staffed, they said they are just too busy, when there were literally 5 tables occupied. They were already very slow in service and were accepting people until the closing hours without letting them know of the wait times.In the mean time, they were kept apologizing and offering free snacks but still unacceptable. Every time anyone asked about their order, their response was 5 minutes. They have a mentality of serving one table at a time and their expectation is to have 2 tables at the maximum. When I asked about the slowness, they blamed on the customer that all came at once, which is not true.Food: Wings were flavorful but heavily undercooked, so not edible. Pizza was undercooked too, and we have seen other tables asking for a redo. Chole Bhatura was very oily.Food hazard: The managers seems to be munching in between serving the food, while the two waitress were serving food and cleaning the table at the same time. Hygiene is in question.The chefs seems very untrained for preparing Indian food and you can literally see that. Management seems cutting corners there.The only good thing is they have a nice place and an open kitchen, which can’t be appreciated due to their service and food.I don’t see how this place has accumulated these many positive reviews, seems fishy, since the issue we saw does not seem to be a one time thing.

The curries at this restaurant are fantastic and the service is great. I would not give it 5 stars though, as I feel that the prices are a little on the high side. You can find equally delicious Indian food for a lower price elsewhere.
