Tacofino - Tofino

I had a recommendation from a friend of the celiac that this place is safe. The staff is very careful in the small kitchen to keep things separate. I have 3 tacos: bean, vegan and fish (grilled). So delicious with generous portions. Good.

I'm a celiac. They could not guarantee cross-contamination, but they had a separate area to make everything and they grilled my fish instead of deep frying. I had a corn-based beans Gringa, and a fish taco, I felt quite comfortable order here and I didn't get sick.

Not as many gf options as we thought. Grilled fish not available. Beef has flour on it. Pork taco was good. Burrito bowl is mostly cabbage as opposed to rice. The kids were not huge fans. Overall not on our top ten taco places. Not worth a 2 hr line. We got there at 11 am and waited only about 20 mins or so.

Great experience overall, got the grilled chicken burrito but in a bowl. Was offered corn tortillas on the side but passed. Amazing and big portions, definitely worth making the stop!!
