Frustrated, we decided to try Nando's by the lake, but found no improvement in service. Unsure of what to do next, we eventually ended up at Gourmet Burger Kitchen where we were pleased with the spacious and welcoming environment. Compared to the previous establishments, GBK stood out for its personal attitude and friendliness.
I ordered takeaway today and the food was terrible. It was not cooked well, some pieces looked undercooked. I was hoping to request it to be cooked more, as I have done in the past, but it wasn't an option this time. I placed my order for pick up at a certain time, but upon arriving at the restaurant at pm, my order was not ready. I had to wait because they couldn't find my order, but eventually I received it.
I don't think I've ever experienced such a bad visit in a restaurant. sitting for lunch today and expecting it to be busy due to the time (you have a table and leave to place our order. the dame on the. clear, either needed training or was not interested in the work. she told the person before me that he had to give his orders slowly, as she was stressed! when I asked if the gravitation in the offer was spicy. she just sighed and said: “I have no idea” and then said it was a day of mash and she wished she was at home. food order placed and was still waiting for when I asked how long the order would be I said that “it’s midday so it’ll be here soon”. during this time the manager helped behind the theke and, without being personal, she clearly had no good day. very loud, harmonious and delightful. we have seen that two couples reclaim their money and go and when we finally got our food, it was simply on the table without any kind of interaction from an older lady who was not in uniform but a name badge on. I appreciate that Nando’s is not exactly the ivy, but is more common, reasonable time for eating are cooked and a warm welcome is not too much to ask. I would strongly recommend that people avoid this restaurant.
We're here early on a Sunday night. it was full, but they scan the QR code and they text it when a table is ready. it was a minute! the guy who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. the tables here are very. well socially removed. they scan the QR code to order at their table, and their meal is brought, it was uncomplicated. really good eating and the credit card trust discount of my nando was automatically added when I ordered. all very efficient.
Amazing service from numerous staff at this venue, the manager Magda went out of her way to help us with our order and explain how the menu had changed and what we could do to make it the way we used to have it, she...was polite and so helpful, accommodated us every way she could! The kitchen was due to close and because she saw we had chicken wings on our order she quickly rushed to the kitchen to get someone to put on wings just for us. The friendly gentleman made no complaints about doing so and brought them over when ready with a smile in his eyes, thank you Ollie D. And towards the end of our evening we interrupted another team member Oyin to ask for a box, she then brought over sauces to take home with us, again super friendly and willing to help and accommodate. The food was delicious as it usually is but the staff working this night made it a lovely evening! Very rare to get such brilliant customer service these days and these guys smashed it! star service all round, thank you Magda, Ollie D and Oyin.
