The Sovereign Room - Thunder Bay

The food here is so good. We had the fried cauliflower (the batter was delicious! and hotline chicken to start. Came out fast and fresh and the portions were surprisingly large! We also tried the pancetta and goat cheese pizza as well as the flammekeuche. Both were super yummy and again, way larger than expected. Lots of variety for drinks including some tasty non alcoholic cocktails. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is cozy the booths have high backs so it feels almost private.

Fun atmosphere on lower level. Booths and tables and pub atmosphere. Checked out upstairs and that is sexy lounge atmosphere with dimmed lighting and purple lights. Pizza roulette a good idea. They make you a pizza well flatbread I guess and it was delicious.... Bartender let us taste test different craft beers before we made our choices. Would definitely go back

Chicken and waffle Tuesday? Damn it! Delicious. Drinks are plentiful with a great music selection and atmosphere! Pizzas are amazingly good. Marie is great. Look at the atmosphere and see an old Vhs movie on the big screen!

The sovereign never disappoints. My daughters are vegetarian and they had many delicious options to eat. The fried cauliflower is her favorite. If you are not a vegetarian and enjoy kimchi, I recommend the kimchi deluxe. It is a poutin without engraving, but instead kimchi, Sriracha mayo, with roasted Brussels sprouts and pork bell on crispy pommes. Another seasonal favorite is the homemade Einog with maple whisky.

Amazing. 2 years now of the valentines day sitting, and it's unbelievable each time. I've never tasted anything like it and have said that TWO years in a row now. Definitely some magic going on in that kitchen.
