A definite hole in the wall that you could drive by. Burgers were good and you get tons of fries, plenty to share and they are really good. I've had better burgers but I've also had worse!
I had been told by my children that OTC was a great place to get a GF burger and that yes they do have vegetarian options. Well, my husband and I tried it and I have to say we were both severally disappointed. The GF buns were dry and the vegetarian option was in dire need of some spicing up. He had a meat option and said that the burger was even drier than my GF bun! We were given a discount punch card but handed that over to our son. Will not return.
Noticed that OTC had new owners. Headed out there with some friends. One had never been and one had been previously. While the burgers are still good and local suppliers are still used, I don't think they are as good as they used to be. There just seemed to be more filler.
Was pleasantly surprised on our way out highway 61 to see the OTC had reopened. Stopped by on our way back from a cross country ski from Kamview. Veggie burger was just as yummy as I remember it. My only complaint is the menu (although small) is a bit confusing especially reading it off the chalk board while the person is waiting to take your order. I also didn't find our server all that helpful given that I think it was pretty obvious we didn't come there often. Would suggest staff try taking an extra minute or 2 to explain what the combo (with the option of a milkshake) vs just getting burgers and fries (as we likely would have gotten the combo with the milkshake!). Although we will likely be back and will know how to order then.
