Sunset Grill - Three Lakes

We're stuck. After years of arrival in the Three Lakes area my wife and I finally visited the Sunset Grill. We were surprised. I am a very picky customer, I admit, and I had used to mediocre and subpar food from local restaurants, but The Sunset Grill was a welcome change! The Good: Food is spectacular. It is the usual diner fare, but the grill adheres to what makes it best - classic American foods to be eaten on an empty stomach. The food tastes like eating in a kitchen, not in a casual restaurant. The food quality is very good, obviously they use good ingredients and adhere to kitchen standards. The land fried steak is very good as the pancakes (the chocolate chips and whipped cream). The hash browns are golden brown and actually seasoned to have taste. The building is clean and homey inside with beautiful views of the lake. The bathroom: My only complaint is that the hours of the operation are a little surprised (before you drive only to check the hours), but I know that due to the lack of personnel we see everywhere. This leads me directly to the incredible. The INCREDIBLE: Tony the owner was a bus stop and seat customer. Seeing an owner who works as hard and as humble as I saw him was really a breath of fresh air. Tony was really nice and has a great staff. Kim was our waitress and was personally and excited to help. Kim was an amazing server and I'm glad to see her again soon. The kitchen staff. I didn't catch her name, but they worked tirelessly and turned out to be great food. You're unforgiving heroes I hope never leave the grill. All in all, a favorite experience of Three Lakes. A new tradition for my family!

Great place. Right on the water. Nice slipper to tie the boat. The staff was friendly and the food was good. A good burger connection. Go back. It was closed at 2:00. But these are probably not summer hours.

Definitely a top rice restaunt to go enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch. The entire staff works day by day to ensure that everyone has the best experience. Beautiful lake side view. Look at the planes. Meet the nice people. Never been as nice as sunset.

Best restaurant for breakfast and lunch. An amazing place to watch boats come out and out. An amazing place for ice and get boats filled with gas. Hardworking servers hard work hosts an amazing owner. Everyone puts in a lot of time and effort to make sunset grill an amazing place around. Beautiful view, amazing food from breakfast to lunch and amazing staff.

I have been working here for about 6 months... I posted early on how much I loved our customers and how much I loved working for the new owners....I know I love working even more than my 1st day... this is my long term journey employed here. I do have to say my feelings and opinions of ownership and co workers have changed tremendously.... I love working there, for and with everyone. Our customers local or travelers are incredible.... please coming back to see us ,I really mean me lol
