Rahil Tandoori - The Vale of Glamorgan

We made a reservation for a table of 13 adults in advance. We decided to pre-select our meals in order to allow the staff to prepare for our large group. We all started with poppadoms and chutney, followed by our main courses. There were no issues throughout the evening - the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The dining experience was fantastic - the staff were very friendly, the prices were great, and even though we didn't order any alcohol, the service was still top-notch. The buttered lobster was absolutely delicious.

The meal was terrible, with clearly artificial sauces added for a commercial appeal. The dishes all seemed to be made from the same generic sludge, with only minor variations in color or taste. The menu was overwhelming, offering far too many dishes to maintain any level of quality. I couldn't even trust the bill I was given, so I snapped a picture of it before the waiter took it back. Something fishy was going on here - why couldn't I keep a copy of my bill?

I visited my daughter in barry. we went home when we noticed that this restaurant was open. omg! how glad we were eating that was the best I ever had and returned to any case. warm and friendly greeting from a beautiful young...man though we could not understand Indians, he seemed to be led by the owner and we just want to say he does a fabulous work!. the group restrictions were calculated! we had the chicken masala and it was nice, so fragrant! we will definitely return when we are back in barry and I highly recommend thank you.

We visited during our weekend trip to Barry and Indians is favorite food so we made sure to book a curry in advance! We’ve tried loads of places away from home and often hesitant as to weither the curry will be as nice but very...pleasantly surprised! Lovely meal and will return whenever we come back to Barry!
