Los Portales Mexican

I absolutely love their food! It's always fresh and prepared well. They are my go-to for authentic tasty tacos! I can't seem to stay away from the shrimp tacos but I've had their al pastor, pulled chicken and fish tacos and they are all delicious! They give generous portions and it's comfortably affordable!

Comparing Mexican style food in jax and st augustine it's one of the best and great prices. Clean and friendly restaurant.

Unfortunately my family experienced poor service here. The tall male host rolled his eyes at my wife when she didn’t hear what he said when delivering food to our table. The short tan male server never refilled our table’s drinks. Several drinks sat empty for the duration of our meal. He also told me a menu item had no peppers or onions, which was incorrect. This was a birthday celebration meal. I do not recommend.

If you want authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank Los Portales is the place. Service is always friendly and helpful. Have been a regular here for years.
