United Club Near Gate C1

The staff in this IAH United Club was well-organized, professional, considerate, and friendly... exceptionally so considering how busy both the airport and all United Clubs were today. Nice job!

I was here 2 weeks ago, at about 7:45 am. I am not an elite member, but I had one time passes. Why I mention this when I was leaving an hour later there was a sign at the entrance saying that one time passes were not accepted for entrance at that time. So be aware. And yes, I noticed the amount of people inside increased somewhat.Still, I do not think this is reasonable I had my one time pass for a reason. First come first serve would make more sense to me.The place was clean. I did not expect miracles in terms of food. I was able to get a self made taco (eggs, bacon it was pretty good, and a coffee also good, considering I had to get up early that day. There was something else on the food counter that I don't remember well. Again, nothing too fancy, but looked good enough for me.And you can also get a beer or another basic drink for free.Overall, I would definitely spend time here rather than waiting at the gate if I have a choice. But it probably also depends on how you get your entry pass. If you have to pay cash (45 50 bucks ? I am not so sure it would be a good deal. You could just as well find a better than average cafe and spend time there.

Good sized United lounge that has plenty of seating and a decent food beverage selection

Had a 5 hour layover in Houston and was happy to use my club passes. I wasn't able to eat everything due to soft food diet. But I was grateful for the mashed potatoes, black bean soup and Illy coffee!

Very busy club but the staff are excellent. Very friendly and cordial, even though the lounge guests are keeping them running by devouring absolutely everything edible in sight.
