I was happy to see that they had them on the menu. Seems like it’s getting hard to find places that have non vegetarian samosas. The lamb saag was also very good with big tender pieces of lamb. The saag sauce was more garlicky than most, but I really like garlic. So if you’re not a big fan maybe you should try something else. I would imagine that most of the other items on the menu are equally good. Just a guess though. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star (dot? rating was the decor which isn’t really a big deal. Pretty dark in there and didn’t really feel like an Indian restaurant.
Lightest lentil papadum I’ve ever tasted! Chicken makhani was very flavorful went great with a Thirsty Goat amber ale.
We sat down and waiter as normal took our order. Then 45 mins later we went to find someone. I personally think our waiter was out int Eh alley doing coke. Then the manager came and apologized and offered a small discount. Then we waited another 30 minutes. No food. We left. We never ate. We just left. The restaurant was about half full not crazy busy not short staffed. Just bad.
This place is so disappointing. Food tasted horrible. Waited so long before we could get a menu. Would never return for this place and not recommend to anyone who are looking for good Indian cuisine. Hopefully they focus on food taste and better customer service in the future.
Take out: something missing in my saag paneer, just lacking flavour although spiced to our level (like it 8/10). Lots missing in husband's lamb curry: the meat. Mostly very watery sauce with 4 cubes of meat. Not worth the cost.
