Chili's Grill

Horrible service, waitress collected menus before take our order. Finally placed order, food came out and she asked us to pay the bill. Not once did she check to see if we needed anything else etc.

Not 1 star because this location is usually good with service but today 1/28/24 it was definitely a 1 star experience. Server seemed new or didn’t know what she was doing, left in the middle of taking our order because a different table said something to her, not her fault for being called but kind of unacceptable to leave our table while attending us. They sent unsweetened tea to my gf after asking for sweet, we politely asked for sweet tea, they brought us back the exact same tea, no problem we ask for water, and the water comes with no ice..well that’s not too bad but yeah couldn’t get the sweet tea part right for us. I asked for my big bite burgers to come without ranch and they had ranch in them, my gf also asked for fries with her wings and they never put them in. Over all i believe the server is to blame, she just seemed new and had no idea what she was doing, i would give them another try but definitely wouldn’t sit in her area, not sure of her name but she was kinda tall and white.

This is probably THE worst Chili 's I have ever been to and yesterday marked the last time I will ever go to this location. I was there at around 2pm to watch the Chiefs game and sat at the bar. 1. The bartender had a bad attitude and just looked like she hated her job the entire time. Either she had resting b face or she was miserable and it came out when I asked for a simple request: refill my chips while my queso was still warm. 2. I caught her looking at her cellphone multiple times. She would come out of the kitchen, look at her phone, then go back into the kitchen. She was slow and had ZERO hustle. I asked when I was low on chips for a refill and it took 10 minutes...for her to tell me I was going to have to wait a few seconds. When I told her I had been waiting for 10 minutes already, she coped an attitude. Especially when I told her I saw her walking slowly to the tables and that I knew how easy it was to grab chips from the back (I used to work for Chili 's). Her not being able to get to it had NOTHING to do with being too busy it had to do with having no sense of urgency and mis prioritizing her tasks. I know the difference. 3. I asked for the manager, who I have seen before some tall guy who looks like he 's trying to go for the 90 's Chumbawumba look. He was the same guy that months before I heard using profanity while sitting at the bar with co workers. This guy came over, made excuses for the bartender and then told me, She never has an attitude and when I said she had one that day and I saw her walking around slowly with no sense of hustle, he said, I am sorry you feel that way and walked away. He did that after he offered to get me more chips, but I declined because I was done having this miserable and slow bartender as my server. 4. I left and went to the location in Katy and it was NIGHT AND DAY. The server was just as busy but she was efficient and friendly. There is no excuse for this kind of service they need to replace the manager AND the bartender. This is simply a disorganized and unprofessional location with other employees sitting at the bar area because it was apparently so slow that they had nothing to do but so busy that getting more chips was too much to ask. 5. I have worked in food service and I know when someone is in the weeds and when someone simply has a poor work ethic and makes excuses. There was NO reason for this bartender to be in the weeds. I could see her screen for drink orders it was scant. If she was overwhelmed it was because she moved slow and was disorganized. Then for the manager to gaslight me and dismiss my concern, was unacceptable. There are better locations in Willowbrook and Katy avoid this location and go a little further to have a better, more professional experience.

We love going to Chilli's for food, and this time we tried this branch. It was a take out order. As usual, we had to wait a bit since Chilli's is a busy restaurant. But we got our food as perfect as it can be. We forgot to take photos of the main dish, but we did capture a picture of their amazing molten lava cake. We definitely recommend this branch too! :

Everything here was just horrible. Was told to seat ourselves, sat, waited about 10 minutes decided to stay. We ordered all at once, food, came burnt, Mac and cheese burnt. Ribs burnt. Got our margaritas after. Didn’t ask for new food just finished my drink and left. Nobody checked on me other than when I got my drink.
