The thing that is awesome is how fast and efficient the line moves! The coffees are consistently well made, the service has been friendly every day. Today is my last day in town so I went inside and the experience was equally pleasant. Great job to the team at the Aiken Starbucks on Whiskey Road!
Both the ice coffee Drink and cookie frap was very watery and tasted like it didn?t have any sugar just nasty. I had a ice coffee with caramel and hazelnut flavoring and couldn?t taste either. I asked for foam and the gave me some watery white liquid that was bitter.
I walked in during what seemed like their morning rush. I was greeted the moment I walked through the door. A little undecided this particular morning the Barista was very helpful in helping me select a drink to my liking. Her suggestion was spot on. Even during the morning rush they were still able to offer good customer service that's a plus in my book.
This place is awful. I requested a Sumatra pour over and was told they do not have pour over equipment. Then I said okay I will take a dark roast non- pour over and was told sorry we don't have any dark roast. This is absurd!!! It's NOT a supply chain issue if you can get Sumatra at Target...which I buy a bag of every week. You can also buy a filter from Target and a cup and make a pour over...be creative!!
Since I have to give it a star I will give it 1 star for politeness No line no waiting to order but I'm told it will take 30 minutes for a coffee. It doesn't take 30 minutes to make a coffee. So not sure who needs to be retrained but maybe the entire store needs to be. Since this is the ONLY Starbucks that can't make coffee in under 30 minutes.
