Shrathas Restaurant - Thanjāvūr

This restaurant, located in the Kumbakonam area, is famous for its non-vegetarian delicacies. I enjoyed their mutton biryani and fish dishes. The chicken biryani was also quite delicious.

This restaurant is quite pricey and the food is bland. We were disappointed with our experience. However, we had no other option as the restaurant is conveniently located near the famous Mahamakam Pond.

The menu has a large spread of non vegetarian items that are a mix of South Indian, Tandoor, Indo Chinese so there are enough options for meat eaters.The prices are pocket friendly and the taste is decent. If you are a meat eater looking for options in a predominantly vegetarian place this is a good option
