Quite possibly the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Ordered a cheese and chorizo flat bread priced at £7.50 and was served a pathetic looking excuse of a sandwich, it was a shop bought tesco type flat bread folded in half with not a great deal of filling. I brought this to the waitresses attention, I was told, that the council don’t give us any concessions on our rent! Also ordered was some butternut squash soup, which tasted like flavoured, greasy water. Would have sent it all back, had I not already paid. I would avoid at all costs.
I visited here on the 30th October with two friends after we'd been out on a crime solving game. I was reallt impressed with the offerings on menu. I asked the young lady (brown hair and glasses) if she could explain what a mocktail is, as I am autistic and had never had one before. She kindly explained the process and said if I didn't want soda she would find a non carbonated alternative. I had a non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri, as well as a white hot chocolate. I also had the cheesy chips... A safe option for me. The drinks and food were lovely. All staff were kind, and allowed my friend and I to purchase from the chocolate stall. I would be delighted to return in the future.
We used to visit this place regularly pre Covid but after our recent visit, sadly we will not be returning due to the following reasons Grubby tables Dirty toilets Disappointing food Very poor cocktails Plus the staff are all very young and although they were all pleasant they seem to have no idea how to make any of the cocktails.
The staff was exceptionally welcoming us. Its a nice place with own character but highly recommended for lunch or drinks! And don't miss the Belgium chocolate deserts!!
