Los Colorines - Tepoztlán

Colorful and traditional place in the centre of Tepoztlan. They offer a variety of traditional Mexican clamps such as beans, guacamole, nopales (cactus leaves), Quesadillas, Tlacoyos, etc. Servers are not familiar with veganismo, but you can simply order things without cheese and they will be vegan. I recommend ordering guacamole, beans (without cheese), nopalsalat, and quesadillas or tlacoyos (without cheese or sour cream). All we had was really fresh and delicious. We ordered huitlacoche and squash flour and mushroom--flor de calabaza con champiñones-quesadillas and they were delicious! The staff is friendly and serviceable, but do not expect them to speak English. Food comes fast and everything is great. Unattended, but only cash!

I got the mushroom soup (caldo de hongos) and it was glorious. Also, I got the guacamole, but the totopos weren't very nice they were fried not toasted. I couldn't find any other options... Important that's only cash accepted!
