Olympic Bakery - Temple City

Fortune Bakery offered a wider variety of cake flavors, which we were eager to try, but its location was quite far, so we decided against it. Working with the staff at Olympic Bakery was a pleasant experience. However, I believe the person who specifically makes the wedding cakes mainly speaks Chinese, so my husband handled most of the communication since my Chinese isn’t very good. Fortunately, we were very satisfied with the final product. We ordered a three-tier cake to serve approximately 150 people, and all three tiers were white cake. The top two layers had a strawberry-pineapple filling, while the bottom layer was filled with mango. For the design, we found a cake style we liked online and sent the photo to one of the team members at the bakery. We requested a couple of adjustments, which they happily made. We provided our own ribbon for decoration (which we purchased from Walmart), and they matched the icing color to the ribbon perfectly. The delivery fee was $60 (cash), and they delivered the cake on the morning of the reception. The cake itself cost $290 (they accepted card payments), bringing our total to $350. Overall, we were very pleased with their service! Our only regret was that we ordered too much cake. We ended up with fewer guests than we anticipated, and the restaurant served the pieces very small, so we had quite a bit of cake left over.
