Ihop - Temple

Not 24 hrs during the week day Good visit. Quiet morning. Friendly service. Gluten friendly Belgium waffle was yummy and filling. Could only eat half of it. Hot coffee. Enjoyable morning. Currently they open at 6 a.m. They're 24 hrs on weekends only.

We don't eat out a lot, but I could definitely tell that they had a staff shortage. Not as clean as I usually would like a restaurant to be, but tolerable. Our server was a true miracle worker. It seemed as if he took care of half of the whole restaurant, yet friendly and helpful and moving fast. The food was good, and the portions large.

Waiter was fantastic but, the food was horrible!! My husband who is on the Keto diet, ordered an omelette with cheese, sausage bacon. He was disappointed when he discovered the eggs are made with pancake batter. Apparently, he didn't read the fine print. The sausage options are only pork links, no patties. It was extremely warm inside also if they have AC, it wasn't on. Won't be returning to this IHop.

Cleanliness, or lack there of... Judge for yourself, the pictures and lack of concern from the Management staff thru the wait and clean-up stuff is apparent. God willing, the kitchen is not like this..

It had been a while since my husband and I last visited. The food wasn't the issue. It was just as you'd expect a chain breakfast place to be, and the pancakes are as great as always. The reason for my low rating was how absolutely filthy it was. The flatware had finger prints all over it, the recently installed plexi guards between booths, and the windows, made me want to throw up. I'm not sure what good they are doing when they are smeared with fingerprints and grease. The one syrup container was covered in old drippy syrup from earlier customers, and when our waitress brought the cream for our coffee, the bowl it was in had food all over the outside of it. It was clear this was not a sanitary place to be dining. Our waitress had far too many tables for one person to maintain adequately. This was a huge disappointment. We will not be back to the IHOP in Temple, TX.
