La Fonda Mexican Foods - Tempe

I had a great birthday dinner here yesterday with my son and daughter in law the food is always amazing!!! I have been eating at LA Fondas since I was 9 it all began at the Tempe location over on Scottsdale Rd Curry in the Wolco shopping centers Family and friends even worked there in the 70s the atmosphere is always warm and inviting

We ate here for the first time last night and it was wonderful. Food was amazing and drinks were great. Try it. I know we're back.

The food was delicious, and the restaurant wasn't crowded. The chips were fresh and hot when they were served at my table. The staff was friendly as well.

We were eagerly waiting for LaFonda to reopen! After years of hearing friends and family mention stopping by the Baseline location, my boyfriend and I finally decided to visit one day, and we really enjoyed it. We were disappointed when they closed but were thrilled to see their plans for reopening nearby. The food is great, and the staff is genuine. This is a business we love to support. We're so glad you're back!

I’ve dined there three times in the past two months, and we absolutely love it! The Chili Rellenos are fantastic! If you're unsure about what to order, the sampling plate is a great choice, as it lets you taste a variety of dishes. The service has consistently been attentive—very friendly, quick, and precise. While it is a bit on the pricier side, this seems standard these days, so it doesn’t bother me. The margaritas are also excellent! I highly recommend La Fonda, and we definitely plan to return!
