King Coffee - Tempe

King Coffee is one of the most charming and cozy spots near the ASU Tempe Campus. They serve excellent strong coffee and have a wonderfully uplifting atmosphere!

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the early morning. The Italian soda and lemon Danish were delicious! The cashier was friendly and even offered me two small jams for the price of one, which was so kind! This is definitely a nice place to relax and enjoy a snack. I would definitely recommend it. They have wonderful staff!

King Coffee is a lovely, cozy café located on the way to campus. As someone who enjoys working in cafés, I often find myself frustrated with the overly trendy spots that feature reclaimed wood, steampunk light fixtures, and overpriced, bitter coffee. King Coffee is definitely not one of those places. The staff are consistently friendly, the couches have a charmingly worn look, and there are plenty of cozy nooks to settle into (though I was quite sad when they removed the quirky desk corners in the back). It's a pleasant, laid-back neighborhood coffee shop.

I wasn't there long, but I got a very tasty icey vanilla heel milk latte! the parking situation is complicated, but it was worth it, and I will try back to get more from the menu!

Really cool little coffee shop next to a cool bookshop. perfect for learning or just relaxing. one of the best icy vanilla latte I had!
