Hizon's Cakes & Pastries - Taytay

All I can say is ...... it was a horrible super bad service, good food and cakes but am never going back there again. Then I called to ask about wedding cakes, they made me wait so long, I could hear them talking and no one attended to me so I just hang up. I was already warned by a friend not to get from them, they feel they are so big that they will not entertain small buyers. Anyway I have said my piece and never will I ever buy another piece of cake or eat there again, it may have bad luck for me but everyone should be given good service no matter how small your order is.

It's our family's go-to place for cakes for any occasion.. we usually get the mocha cake. No other bakeshop has matched its pillow soft chiffon and yummy caramel filling and mocha icing. Their ensaymada and raisin loaf are must-trys.

Love the ensaimada here. I've been having this since I was a child. We'd go get boxes of these in their shop in Bocobo in Ermita. I also like the classic caramel and chocolate cakes. No frills, no gimmicks, just good old rich and flavorful cakes.

Mocha cake and caramel cake are the best! Their raisin bread is to die for. I can eat their Queso de bola ensaymada all day long. Great with coffee!☕

I love the ensaimada at this restaurant. I have been enjoying it since I was a child. We used to buy boxes of them at their location on Bocobo Street in Ermita. I also enjoy the classic caramel and chocolate cake. There are no fancy decorations or gimmicks, just delicious old-fashioned and flavorful treats.
