The Boat House - Taunton

Eating is high quality, location is great, although drinks are above the counter and eating is table service. can be easily confusing and to busy times leave them with a cold drink to accompany their food when it comes.

Good food in a pleasant location. (I particularly like the breakfast selection available before 12). . if you like it here you should try The Shed and The Weir as well

This café is the closest to my office, making it just a short walk along the river. I recommend visiting it after checking out the nearby sights. They serve strong coffee and tea from the local Mr. Miles, along with an excellent selection of cakes and a vibrant hot/cold lunch menu. The staff is particularly courteous and friendly, even when it gets busy—which is often! It’s a must-visit for a decent lunch in Taunton.

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The tea was beautiful, and the chocolate cake was moist and soft—I enjoyed it very much! The atmosphere was cozy, without the distractions of air conditioning like many cafes in Taunton. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more pleasant. Overall, I left with great memories, and I want to thank the entire team for the wonderful experience!

The ambiance was great, the coffee was excellent, and the food was visually appealing. It was a nice and quiet setting, more relaxing than some of the chain restaurants, especially during this busy season. The staff were also very friendly.
