Matteo Trattoria Pizzeria - Tampa

We are on vacation in Tampa and we must say that our most favorite dining experience has been Matteo's Trattoria! Great Italian food, great ambiance and great service! My daughter and I were there on Monday evening and we both ordered the Chicken AlfredoPasta. It was delicious. You can tell that the noodles are handmade! The chicken was so flavorful and juicy. Excellent! The warmcrusty bread with the olive tapanade was a good compliment to the pasta dish. We decided that we must try their Tiramisu. It wasthe best we have tasted, even better than in Venice! Our server, Joel, was very friendly, attentive, menu knowledgeable andprofessional. In other words, he was great! The ambiance was wonderful and the people dining there seemed very happy. Theseating was comfortable and cozy. Decor was on point. A place you want to return to. We were surprised to learn that it wasMonday Madness there, which meant all dishes were 50% off!! No wonder it was packed with happy people, including us! Parkingwas easy and there was wheelchair accessible parking as well as entrance.

My boyfriend and I come here every Monday for the 50% off and we love it here! Joel always exceeds our expectations as well as the rest of the crew the food is amazing and our drinks never get low definitely recommend coming here for a date night or anynight in general.

What a man amazing dining experience I had here! The waitress Vanessa, was very welcoming and pleasant to us and other parties. She was very helpful in making our dinner choices as well with very good suggestions on everything on the menu! The food wasprepared to order with fresh ingredients that delighted my taste buds! I had the chicken Marsala which was rich and flavorfuland the chicken was cooked perfectly. Overall great food and experience!

Really good food, we got pesto dishes and I added chicken to mine. Good service, the bread was also delicious. It's a relaxing restaurant to dine in, and I'd love to visit again!

Their food is spectacular! I can't remember our waiters name but he was amazing as well and hilarious! He made our dinner even more enjoyable. He had the boxers fracture and was all splinted up! ?? Amazing ambiance, food, people... We love traveling frompalm harbor just to eat dinner there!
