What to say Room a bit small, however we had the lake side view and it was magnificent. Concerning the spa, very very small too, mini jacuzzi not hot enough at all Very good breakfast and lots of choice. Pleasant staff. The interior of the abbey is magnificent!! I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Room poorly sound insulated: woken up at 7 a.m. by music from the breakfast room, and hubbub from the restaurant until late in the evening in the room. I point this out to the receptionist when checking out, who responds with a slight “yeah”. Another lack of taste: at the reception, a large screen displays the price you pay, so that everyone nearby my wife in this case can see what you are paying. Loan of a broken and unusable umbrella. The car keys are confiscated on arrival, without explanation (we then understand that it is to optimize the parking). Finally, despite my request, no fruit offered at breakfast. Only the site and the building are superb, the rest is clearly not up to the standard of a 4 star, and the price is exorbitant (more than €350/night in low season) in relation to the service. A picturesque and historic 'Abbaye ' on the lake of Annecy, gets 100% on location, location, location, but also they looked after us all extremely well. The food, service and accommodation are all top notch and our three nights there were wonderful in every respect. Thank you all so much! PS It was our son 's wedding and it couldn 't have been a more perfect occasion in the most magical and enchanting hotel. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
