Metro Deli - Tallahassee

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Ordered an online order at 11:23 am. It arrived at 12:05 pm- not bad. HOWEVER, the order was wrong and the drink had spilled everywhere. I immediately called the delivery man back to tell him it was the wrong order. No answer. 12:10 pm- I call the restaurant, they say they will call the delivery man and have him come back with the right order. 12:30 pm- no sign of the delivery man so I call the restaurant again, they say he should be here any minute with my food. 12:45 pm- STILL NO DELIVERY MAN. 1:50 pm STILL NO DELIVERY MAN. Called the store again to which they replied, oh there was a miscommunication between us and the delivery driver and he threw the food away. We can remake it now. AT THIS POINT PEOPLE IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 HOURS SINCE I ORIGINALLY PLACED THE ORDER!! They also gave me an attitude and a hard time about wanting to be reimbursed for receiving the WRONG order and then waiting for a ridiculous amount of time to NEVER EVEN RECEIVE THE CORRECT ORDER. This is not the FIRST issue I have had with this restaurant. The food is good but it's NOT good enough for all of that!

The Cuban sandwich is a great lunch. Plenty of food and it hits the spot. I was looking for a place close to the campus and this really is a great place. The employees are quick and laid back to be sure you have the a great experience at a sandwich shop. Reasonable priced.

If you’ve ever had a bad experience with metro deli, you’re the one with the issue. I’ve been here too many times for me to count, and not ONCE have I ever had an experience that was anything less than perfection, even during their busiest lunch hours. They even know my order at this point

This is a little hidden gem on Metro Parkway! I discovered it after finding the beef jerky store next door. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch and we each ordered a turkey club. It was the best turkey club I’ve had in the area! Also, the coleslaw was amazing.
