Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack

This restaurant is a popular choice among locals, and it's easy to see why. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. I tried the fried grouper sandwich seasoned with lemon pepper and served with fries. The bread was soft and buttery, and the fish was perfectly crispy and flaky. Don't forget to add a squeeze of lemon over the fish for even more flavor.

The hamburger was delicious with a thick patty. It was fun to build my own style, and the oysters were huge just as the name suggests.

We had a fantastic first experience at Bird's Aphrodisiac! It definitely lives up to the hype, especially the oysters which were the best I've had in the city. They were very fresh, had no gritty texture, and were huge! My husband tried the burger and the patty was big and juicy. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice atmosphere with pictures and plants surrounding us. Bird's also hosts various events like music and Burlesque shows, which we think is a great addition. It's truly a gem in Tallahassee. The only suggestion we have is that parking can be a bit challenging, as the lot was always full. But that just shows how popular and desired this place is!

The food and the service was great! Everyone was friendly. The food came out hot and fresh! This was our first time going to Bird's. Thank you for a great dining experience. We will be back.

Every so often we drop by for me to get my oyster'fix'. As usual I got 1 1/2 dozen broiled wit Jalapeño, cheddar and bacon an they were sweet and fixed perfectly. They get 4 stars because my partner gets the burger and they, while good, are just too big, lol.
