Denali Brewing Company - Talkeetna

Lunch after a tour in Talkeetna. The large outdoor terrace looked great to have an outdoor lunch and enjoy their popular drinks. The terrace had waited about 15 minutes, but there were open seating in the interior. I wanted to eat on the terrace, so I decided for the short waiting period. Our server was slowly over to take the first drinks and appetizer orders. She didn't come by often during the meal and forgot to one of the commands. It must have had a free day because the rest of the servers looked very friendly and efficient. Advertise her heather Mojito, as recommended by several people when he heard we came to Talkeetna. This was a great recommendation because it had a big blueberry taste that was balanced with the alcohol. Also, two of her designs ordered beers that were just as good. For food, ordered the nachos, Brisket Sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad and garden bowl salad. After about 15 minutes, food came out. I wasn't so impressed with the food, but I wasn't disappointed as it was a Braupub. The sandwiches tasted ok, but the coating was very bland and did not look attractive. The salads and nachos tasted okay. The blueberry cheesecake tasted pretty good. Overall, I would recommend coming here for drinks and the ambience. The food was something to have with the drinks, so my expectations were not too high. I didn't have the best service, but the rest of the waiters seemed to do a great job.

Whoever is the pit master who has to smoke the brisket has trained in Texas. The brisket had a perfect smoke ring, a savory bark and was very delicate. The rolls they used for their brisket sandwiches were slightly grilled, with a buttery, sweet taste. One of the best Brisket sandwiches we've ever had. The waitress was very nice and offered us some samples of local cider and alcohol to help us decide which drinks to order. We thought the Denali Brewpub would focus more on drinks and less on food. But it is very clear that they put as much love in both. I wish we lived closer to enjoy this place more often. If you visit Talkeetna Alaska, you must stop at this place.

Great experience here. The staff was really nice and friendly. Georgette was our waitress and was super friendly and welcomed us quickly and got our drinks. Her homemade ginger soda was amazing. The veggie burgers, sweet potato wedges and the pulled pork sandwich had all the great taste. Thanks guys for a fabulous lunch on a rare sunny afternoon!!

Best BRISKET EVER! Our family of 6 checked in and said it was 30 minutes waiting. You send a text when a table is ready to run around. Excellent drink card. Friendly staff.

Decent food, not amazing. Rather pricey. Have a decent beer selection of local Denali brewing located several miles away. Nice atmosphere. Probably better as an adults lunch/dinner less for a family restaurant. The whole Telkeenta place is very simple and minimalistic.
