El Alegre Mexican Grill - Taft

Very good authentic Mexican food, the real deal. Service was great, big portions and small price. We will be going there again!

This place is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! They?re Quesa Birria tacos are 10 out of 10 and comes in a huge portion, so you?ll have to be taking some home afterwards. Their chips come out warm and their salsa is a must try. The restaurant has a warm feeling with it when you step inside, and you?re always welcomed in.

Always good food and good service. Specials of the day post right next to the entrance I side. The chimichangas are a meal by themselves.

The food is good. Waitress is nice. Cute little hole in the wall type spot.

I have always spoken highly of the food from here, but last week we ate here and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had...anywhere! I won't be going back which is very disappointing since they did have the best chile relleno I've ever eaten. What happened?
