Red Star Taco - Tacoma

I ordered the vegan tacos and they were extremely painful spicy and painful. There was absolutely no spice warning or anything the vegan tacos would indicate like the food of fire. The service was fast and friendly and the ambience was sweet, but very loud. Margaritas are delicious!

My friend mentioned Red Star several times for a great lunch place, finally we went!! I order the two taco plates- had a hard time on which two tacos I wanted to try - I chose the fried chicken and the carne asada. The fried chicken taco was delicious, perfect amount of heat and sweet! The Carne Asada was also delish- chose flour tortillas for both. I chose the pinto beans as they mix bacon in- phenomenal! Great service- great atmosphere!

I've almost gone several times, came close to Fremont and passed a dozen times from Tacoma site... finally the woman made the call and thank you! Love the entire vibe, starting with Mya on the front. There was about 40min waiting time when the Happy Hour just ended on Saturday. Parking was easy as there was a ton of street parking around. Insured we had the best in the service of Mya, we waited for Alex who took care of the rest of the evening. Asked, only so happens to be here bartening, and for me, this is such a perfect fit for my first server I can't even explain! He walked us through a few things that were chatted with us about some favored items and gave suggestions when we ordered things that we didn't know... Alex was amazing and we honestly can't wait to come back on a Sunday night and sit at the bar with him. The food was impeccable, nothing crazy to reinvent the bike here. Great quality ingredients worked with a deft touch and attention to detail there was not a missed moment on our range from beginning to end. Can't wait until soon!! Carne Asada TacoKorean shortcut

Amazing tacos. Great value, great taste. Chips were perfect, light and warmed. Pico salsa was perfect, not sharp. Perfect mix of ingredients. House salsa was fine. Only negative for me was the pineapple roja salsa, too much roja and not enough pineapple. But others in my party like it.

Good place for happy hour!!! They serve slushiee margaritas, good tacos and great friendly service. Always coming here for good time
