Hieros - Syracuse

This is a new sandwich shop to James St as of July 2019. These guys are aiming to please. So expect the service to be excellent. It's a new inside the kitchen to the tables where you can eat a good sandwich. Boars head meat is what they got so you won't be disappointed. Sandwiches are not the only thing here, they got personal pizzas and panini as well. The beer and wine license is coming soon as the sign says. There is plenty of street parking.

A great addition to the Eastwood neighborhood! Tasty, high quality sandwiches and food. A really nice selection of local beer on tap plus some really good cans. Friendly employees. I?ll be stopping by regularly!

I got the Hieros sandwich. It was good I especially liked the baguette. My wife started with the broccoli cheese soup. It was good. She had the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich. But she asked the American cheese instead of Swiss. They said the didn't have American cheese so she asked for provolone cheese instead but then still received Swiss on the sandwich. Place was clean. Staff was friendly.

Yes! Go here and have a sandwich. Turkey club I had and it was made fresh. One of the best sandwiches I?ve tasted. Me and my lady are hard critics and our food was amazing. We are going to return to try the unique beers they have on tap and canned. Support good Syracuse independent owned businesses!

Excellent Cuban sandwich, the boars head ham and tender pulled pork combined with the excellent ciabatta bread equals I will be coming back to try other items as well. Didn't hurt that they were playing some 90s underground NYC hip hop in the joint. Friendly staff as well.
